FINN INDUSTRIES, INC., ONTARIO CA, INSTALLS AN ERGOSA™8c UNIVERSAL FOLDER GLUER
PACKING SYSTEM FROM PPCTS IMPACK
Pewaukee,
WI. USA, October 3, 2013
PPCTS installs an ERGOSA™8C UNIVERSAL folder gluer packing system at Finn
Industries, Inc., Ontario CA for the packing of folding cartons into corrugated
cases, directly in line with their folder gluer.
The ERGOSA UNIVERSAL folder gluer packer was developed to reduce unnecessary
movements made by packing personnel, increase ergonomics and organizes the
packing method in a more fluid motion that greatly improves the packing
personnel’s efficiency. The ERGOSA UNIVERSAL packing method while increasing
productivity, removes stress from the packing personnel’s joints, tendons and
wrist, as the cartons are slid into the case without any lifting, resulting in
less injuries.
The ERGOSA System at Finn Industries also includes front & back side auxiliary
stations for the packing of lock bottom cartons, a four flap closing devices to
automatically close the corrugated case flaps for top and bottom taping and can
be retrofitted, at a later date, with other packing technologies also available
from Impack, that would include the new PERPACK™ station that can handle medium
and larger cartons efficiently with one packing person without any lifting.
Converters that currently use conventional hand packing methods for their folder
gluers can greatly improve their productivity with the use of the ERGOSA™
Universal folder gluer packing systems and technologies.
The ERGOSA™ system can help increase production speeds, reduce the number of
packing personnel, as well as greatly reduce the occurrences of repetitive
motion injuries.
