PPCTS/ECO installs 16 more ecopure™ solvent recycler to reclaim
and reuse spent flexo press wash Solvent AND flexo plate developer wash
Pewaukee,
WI. USA, August 5, 2011
PPCTS
announces the installation of sixteen (16) ECOpure™ Solvent recyclers in
the first half of 2011, for the recycling of dirty flexo press wash solvents,
used for the cleaning of the printing decks and inking systems of solvent based
flexo presses or for flexo plate developer solvent wash.
With continued sharp increases in costs of solvents, outside recycling,
transportation and disposal of used solvents, in-house recycling with ECOpure™
Solvent Recyclers gives printers and/or flexo plate manufacturers, control
over their solvent expenditures, while helping the environment, sustainability
and their bottom line.
As
print run lengths decrease, job changeover frequency increases and more flexo
printing plates are manufactured, solvent usages for press ink deck wash and
flexo plate developing increases significantly. In-house recycling of dirty
solvents allows the flexibility to adapt to market changes with minimal solvent
cost impact to the cost of manufacturing.
By
recycling in-house spent dirty solvent with the ECOpure™ Solvent
recycler, purchases of new or recycled solvent can be decreases by approximately
95%, with a corresponding reduction of waste disposal and an ROI of less than 1
year, more typically in the 4 to 7 month range.
The state of the art ECOpure™ Solvent Recyclers features one of the
safest electronically controlled distillation processes that separate
contaminants from the used solvent. The result is clean, distilled, original
solvent ready for reuse. The ECOpure™ Solvent Recycler distillation
process for flexo solvents is conducted under vacuum to increase efficiency with
a recovery rate of 95% or higher.
PPCTS offers ECOpure™ Solvent recyclers, in different sizes to meet each
customer’s specific needs, which are certified under UL2208, Class 1 Div 1 Group
Ex-proof, for Flexo Plate Developer, Flexo Press Ink System Wash-up solvents, as
well as many other industrial use solvents.
